This past weekend was very fun.
The arrangements ordered were for flowers for the Pakastani Consulate in NYC. Of course, not the real one, the one on the tv show that we do flowers for.
What a wonderful inspiration with all of the lovely containers and rich, stunning colours.
Of course, this time of year is so fantastic in our flower world because one of our favorite flowers has arrived!
The glorious dahlia.
These arrangements consisted of monochromatic red tones. We used an interesting foliage called barker bush and added platter dahlias, pom dahlias, roses, hypericum berries, spray roses, cymbidium orchids and gloriosa lily.
It was quite a busy time and dealing with metal containers that are not meant to put water in was a bit challenging to say the least, but in the end, it all worked out!
