RCYC Wedding

The Royal Canadian Yacht Club

On July 21, 2012 we did a lovely wedding at the RCYC.

The look was contemporary but still romantic.    It was a really beautiful day and we were somewhat concerned how we were going to get 105 vases of flowers with garden hooks,  ceremony arrangements etc…..over to the island,  not realizing that we can load onto a barge and away we go.

We all love to see the Toronto skyline from the lake going over to the island.    There was a gorgeous breeze and the sun was shining.

There were ducks and swans swimming around.

We arrived and set up the tables first.   We had 5 vases per table with hydrangea in the centre and 4 vases surrounding it with commercial mums, calla lilies and roses.

The ceremony piece that was placed in the birdbath was just en masse babies breath and it looked really lovely with the lake and skyline as the backdrop.   We also placed some garden hooks along the “aisle” where we added mason jars of simple white roses.

Lastly,  we sprinkled white rose petals along the aisle.

Thank you for taking the time to read this blog post.
